Working with a solid, well-established Tier 2 specialist who can handle both complex commercial and public sector contracts, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to oversee their contracts based in Dublin and the East Coast corridor.

As a self-motivated and experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager with strong leadership and organisational skills, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest technical and quality standards. This role will be Dublin-based with a requirement to attend on-site meetings with clients, site managers, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver multiple projects within agreed scope, schedule, and budget while delivering a quality product to customers.
  • Create project initiation documentation, project budgets, project programmes, and relevant H&S documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory guidance standards.
  • Provide reports for meetings with managers.
  • Maintain close working relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Contract supervision including issuing purchase orders, applications for payment, and variation control.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years as a Mechanical Contracts Manager in the Irish market.
  • Preference given to candidates with Mechanical-based qualifications.
  • Strong background managing mechanical projects for an M&E or mechanical contractor.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding and knowledge of various HVAC systems.
  • Understanding and knowledge of mechanical co-ordination and building modelling.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
