Vickerstock are working in partnership with a well-established and highly successful FMCG manufacturer based in Enniskillen to recruit a Maintenance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to take ownership of a busy engineering function, leading a high-performing team while driving continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and maintenance best practice across the site.

Your day to day:

  • Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for the leadership, development and performance of the maintenance department, ensuring all maintenance activities support operational efficiency, compliance, and production targets.
  • Leading and developing the maintenance team to deliver a proactive and efficient maintenance service.
  • Planning and coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance activities across all manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensuring maintenance work is carried out in line with company procedures, quality standards and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and system issues, working closely with production teams, engineers and external suppliers to identify effective solutions.
  • Managing and optimising maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure workloads are effectively distributed throughout the year.
  • Developing and monitoring maintenance KPIs, reporting departmental performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting equipment reliability, plant availability and operational performance across the facility.

Your essentials:

  • 5 years' experience leading and managing a maintenance function within a manufacturing environment, ideally within FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of preventative and corrective maintenance methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or a similar CMMS system.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and system issues.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and accurately.
