This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join the Engineering team as an Administrator & Stores Person. You’ll play a key role in supporting the department’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient stock control, smooth administrative processes, and accurate reporting across the site.

Role Overview

As the Engineering Administrator & Stores Person, you’ll help maintain the department’s systems and materials while ensuring all documentation and data are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and other departments, you’ll contribute to the smooth running of operations across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Pirana CMMS and produce weekly engineering reports
  • Manage purchase orders, deliveries, and stock control activities
  • Ensure all admin and documentation meet audit and compliance standards
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors for orders and urgent repairs
  • Support other departments (Finance, H&S) and communicate updates at weekly meetings

Your Profile

  • Experience in an engineering administration or stores role is preferred
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI or Pirana is a plus
  • Knowledge of stock systems or CMMS desirable
  • Proactive team player with a flexible, hands-on approach
