Technical Support Engineer (Product Solutions) Dungannon (Global Travel Required) Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading manufacturer of waste management and recycling equipment to recruit a Technical Support Engineer.

Reporting to the Product Solutions Manager, you'll become the technical authority for a range of industry-leading machinery, providing expert support to customers, dealers and internal service teams while helping to drive engineering excellence across the business.

As Technical Support Engineer, you'll combine hands-on field engineering with technical planning, customer support and training responsibilities.

Working closely with Customer Care, Engineering and the Field Service Team, you'll ensure customer equipment remains operational while supporting new installations and developing the technical capability of the wider business.

Supporting the Customer Care team by troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating service and breakdown activities.

Travelling to customer and dealer sites throughout the UK and internationally to carry out diagnostics, repairs, commissioning and technical support.

Planning complex machinery installations, including reviewing technical drawings, identifying resource requirements and developing installation schedules.

Diagnosing and resolving faults across integrated mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Delivering technical training and mentoring to internal Field Service Engineers and international dealer networks.

Recording recurring equipment issues and working closely with the Product Solutions Manager to support product improvements and engineering development initiatives.

Your essentials Degree, HND or recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.

At least 3 years' experience working on industrial or heavy-duty machinery.

Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical control systems including PLCs, relays and associated wiring.

Experience planning and supporting complex machinery installations.

A full driving licence and valid passport with the flexibility to travel internationally when required.

Experience working with waste management equipment, balers, compactors or similar heavy industrial machinery would be highly advantageous.

Experience delivering technical training or mentoring.

Hydraulic (Fluid Power) or Electrical Safety certifications.

Experience using CRM or Field Service Management software to manage service activities and reporting.
