As part of continued growth within their work-winning function, they are looking to appoint an experienced Bid Writer to take ownership of tenders from early PQQ stage through to final submission. You will be responsible for: Developing clear bid strategies, win themes and answer plans. Reviewing PQQ and tender requirements and establishing the overall submission approach. Leading assigned bids from kick-off through to final submission. Coordinating internal teams and external consultants to develop high-quality technical and methodology content. Researching projects, clients and requirements to support well-informed and competitive submissions. Writing, editing and reviewing bespoke tender and PQQ responses. Ensuring submissions are clear, accurate, engaging and aligned with client requirements. Preparing professional client presentation materials and attending interviews where required. Maintaining accurate bid information across relevant bid software and company systems. Gathering information from project sites and site teams to support the development of case studies and tender content. Reviewing client feedback and contributing to continuous improvement across bid processes, templates and documentation. Supporting the wider work-winning team with other relevant duties as required. What you will need 3+ years' experience preparing high-quality PQQs, tenders and bid submissions within the construction or civil engineering sector. Proven experience managing complex bids from initial PQQ stage through to final submission. A third-level qualification, ideally within construction, engineering or a related discipline, would be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and engaging content. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality submissions. Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and presentation software.
