Vickerstock is working in partnership with a leading Facilities Management provider to recruit an experienced Refrigeration FM Technician across Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Refrigeration Engineer to join a well‑established business delivering maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of commercial client sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and minor installations on refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Your day to day:
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests and completing repairs within agreed response times.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial works, minor alterations and installations.
- Maintaining commercial refrigeration systems, including pack systems and associated controls.
- Prioritising maintenance activities to ensure contractual service levels are achieved.
- Ordering and managing materials, tools and equipment.
- Liaising with the Helpdesk regarding specialist contractor requirements where necessary.
- Supervising subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
- Completing equipment surveys, reports and maintaining accurate asset registers.
- Identifying capital replacement requirements where appropriate.
- Completing all service documentation accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Maintaining strong working relationships with site teams and internal stakeholders while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Your essentials:
- Previous experience in a similar Refrigeration or Facilities Maintenance role.
- NVQ Level 2 & Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- City & Guilds 2079 F‑Gas Category 1 Certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience working on commercial refrigeration systems, including pack systems and controls.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.
Desirable:
- IPAF certification.
