Vickerstock are currently working in conjunction with a leading manufacturing client based in Donegal to assist them with the recruitment of a Maintenance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business that continues to invest in its people, facilities and operational performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving maintenance standards, equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

You will lead an experienced maintenance team within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all plant and equipment while supporting ongoing business growth.

As a Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and leading the maintenance function across the site.
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practice.
  • Ensuring maintenance activities are completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards.
  • Managing maintenance schedules, KPIs and engineering performance.
  • Supporting the implementation and development of preventative maintenance systems.
  • Working closely with production and operations teams to maximise plant efficiency.
  • Managing engineering contractors, suppliers and maintenance budgets.
  • Supporting and developing members of the maintenance team.

As a Maintenance Manager ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience within a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience managing maintenance systems and continuous improvement projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
