Mechanical Design Engineer (Multiple vacancies - Omagh area)

Omagh, Tyrone area - this role is commutable from Enniskillen, Strabane, Dungannon, Armagh, Monaghan, Cookstown, and parts of Donegal.

Multiple positions available - From intermediate to Senior levels.

The Opportunity:

Our client - a large established engineering company with a full order book and expansion plans - is seeking multiple experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to join their innovative team based in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. With a reputation for engineering excellence and strong staff retention, this is an opportunity to contribute to challenging, high-value projects.

The Role:

You'll work on the full design lifecycle of complex mechanical systems, from concept through to detailed 3D design and project delivery. This includes:

  • Creating 3D CAD models and detailed drawings (SolidWorks or similar)
  • Collaborating with production, procurement, and project teams
  • Managing design changes, BOMs, and technical documentation
  • Problem-solving engineering challenges from prototype to production
  • Ensuring designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards

  • 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Design or Project Design Engineering
  • Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, etc.)
