Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading and well-established food manufacturing organisation supplying major UK retail customers. The business is continuing to grow and is seeking to appoint a Production Supervisor to support the production management team and oversee daily manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor within food manufacturing who is looking to join a fast-paced, quality-driven production environment.
What you will get in return:
- £16.16 per hour - 40 hours per week (3 shifts available to choose from):
- Monday to Friday, 10.00pm-06.30am
- Tuesday to Saturday, 10.30pm-07.00am
- Sunday to Thursday, 10.30pm-07.00am
- Overtime x1.5 - £24.24 per hour
- 31 days holiday - with opportunity to purchase 5 extra days

Your day to day:
As Production Supervisor, you will support the production management team in the day-to-day running of operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency. You will lead by example on the factory floor and ensure your team adheres to company procedures relating to product quality, food safety and integrity.
- Supervising and allocating staff across production lines to ensure production targets are achieved
- Monitoring labour utilisation to maximise operational efficiency
- Using internal systems such as AX, Autocoding and Sparc to support production activities
- Managing packaging and labelling processes and ensuring required documentation is completed and signed off
- Ensuring correct stock rotation and inventory control within the department
- Investigating and resolving quality or process issues within production
- Ensuring production records and documentation are completed accurately
- Signing off departmental training and supporting the development of production staff
- Addressing day-to-day personnel issues such as attendance, timekeeping and performance, escalating where required
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards at all times
- Supporting a culture of collaboration, accountability and integrity across the production team
- Maintaining audit readiness by ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Supporting management with any additional duties required within the scope of the role
Your essential ingredients:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Production Supervisor role within a food manufacturing environment
- Good verbal and written English
- Level 2 Food Safety certification
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Computer literate
- Health & Safety qualification (desirable)
