This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Northern Ireland's leading engineering businesses, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Material Preparation department.
The Opportunity
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Material Preparation department
- Plan and coordinate material flow to support production schedules
- Supervise and develop the material handling and preparation team
- Manage stock control, material utilisation and subcontract processing
- Drive improvements in productivity, quality and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality standards throughout the department
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years' experience within material handling or heavy engineering manufacturing
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong understanding of production planning and workflow management
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
