We are pleased to be working with an established architectural practice to recruit an Architect / Senior Architectural Technician to join a growing team delivering a wide range of construction projects across Northern Ireland and Ireland. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced architectural professional to work on varied and challenging projects, contributing to high-quality design and technical delivery from concept through to construction. The successful candidate will enjoy a dynamic workload within a collaborative and professional environment.
As an Architect / Senior Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in the production and coordination of architectural information, working closely with the wider design team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities:- Producing high-quality 2D and 3D architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Working collaboratively with the design team to deliver projects on time and to client expectations.
- Adhering to CAD standards, document control procedures, codes of practice, design standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Preparing accurate, well-presented drawings and documentation in line with the design brief.
- Developing architectural details from general arrangement drawings.
- Coordinating architectural packages and taking ownership of assigned projects.
- Applying strong technical knowledge of common building materials and construction detailing.
- A third-level qualification in Construction, Architecture, or CAD.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in an architectural environment on construction projects.
- Proven experience producing high-quality drawing work to tight deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit (2D and 3D).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Experience coordinating work packages and managing your own workload effectively.
