Civil Engineer / Project Manager (Renewable Energy)
As a Civil Engineer / Project Manager, you will join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, marine specialists, and technical professionals. You will play a key role in the design, planning, and delivery of complex subsea and landside cable installation projects, supporting the full project lifecycle from concept to completion. This position will involve occasional travel across Europe to oversee project delivery and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil and marine engineering projects within the renewable energy and subsea cable sectors.
- Oversee design development, resource planning, and project delivery schedules.
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and project leadership across design and construction phases.
- Support the development of innovative, sustainable engineering solutions for energy transition infrastructure.
About You
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Marine, Environmental, or Coastal Engineering).
- Minimum 3 years\’ post-graduate experience, ideally with a contractor (consultancy experience also considered).
- Proven experience with cable installation, pipelines (water/gas), or marine infrastructure projects.
- Excellent technical, organisational, and communication skills.
- The ability to manage design teams, assign workloads, and monitor progress effectively.
- Knowledge of a European language (German, French, Dutch, or Danish) is an advantage but not essential.
