Vickerstock are working in partnership with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit a Production Planning Analyst for their growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially minded individual to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where data, planning, and operational efficiency are central to business success. The successful candidate will play a key role in production scheduling, stock planning, reporting, and operational analysis to ensure customer demand is achieved efficiently and cost-effectively.

Your day to day:

  • Creating and managing daily and weekly production schedules
  • Analysing production and operational data to support business decisions
  • Monitoring stock levels and coordinating material requirements
  • Working closely with production, warehouse, procurement, and commercial teams
  • Producing KPI reports relating to efficiency, waste, downtime, and service levels
  • Supporting forecasting and demand planning activities
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
  • Maintaining accuracy across planning systems and reporting tools
  • Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation

Your essential ingredients:

  • Previous experience within production planning, supply chain, operations, or data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills across operational teams
  • Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG would be advantageous
