Vickerstock are pleased to be working in partnership with a well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy who are seeking to appoint a Revit Technician to join their Structural Engineering team. This role is primarily focused on the delivery of heavy civil and reinforced concrete structures within the water and wastewater sector, alongside a smaller proportion of building structures projects. It presents an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys technically challenging work and wants to develop specialist experience within infrastructure-led design projects.
As a Revit Technician, you will support the structural engineering team in the production of high-quality 3D models, drawings, and technical information across a range of civil and structural projects:
- Producing detailed Revit models and drawings for heavy civil and reinforced concrete structures.
- Supporting the design and detailing of water and wastewater infrastructure assets such as tanks, pumping stations, and associated structures.
- Assisting with structural modelling and detailing on building projects where required.
- Ensuring drawings and models comply with relevant standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Contributing to the continuous development of BIM and digital engineering processes within the team.
To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate:
- Proven experience using Revit within a structural engineering environment.
- Experience detailing reinforced concrete structures, ideally within heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
- Willingness to develop skills across complex civil and structural projects.
