Vickerstock are working in partnership with a wholesale distribution business on the appointment of an Internal Sales Coordinator on a full-time permanent basis. As the Internal Sales Coordinator, you will play an important part in the business being responsible for building and maintaining vital customer relationships by selling new and existing products as well as discontinued stock.
In your new role:
- Sell to new and existing customers via phone call and email.
- Upsell whenever possible to maximise the value and quantity of orders.
- Liaise with customers to inform them of any price discrepancies on orders, stock availability issues and offer a suitable alternative product where necessary.
- Provide internal sales support to the Field Sales Representatives.
- Provide aftersales support to customers and contractors.
- Represent the company at trade shows and marketing events.
What you will need to succeed:
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar sales/customer facing role.
- Confident and positive communicator.
- Understanding of Trade/DIY products is an advantage.
- Strong Excel skills.
