Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a global manufacturing organisation to recruit an Interim Facilities & Maintenance Manager for their Belfast site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to step into a key role during a period of growth and change, taking immediate ownership of site services and maintenance operations.
The Role
As Interim Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site's facilities function, ensuring operational continuity, safety, and efficiency. This is a hands-on position requiring a strong on-site presence, where you will be expected to quickly assess current operations, address issues, and implement effective short-term solutions while supporting ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all site services including maintenance, security, cleaning and waste management
- Ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing etc.) are operating effectively
- Respond to maintenance issues and implement corrective actions promptly
- Coordinate contractors and service providers on-site
- Maintain compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards
- Support ongoing site projects, upgrades and relocations
- Review current maintenance practices and implement improvements where required
- Manage reactive and planned maintenance activities to minimise downtime
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in a Facilities or Maintenance Manager role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Experience managing contractors and site services
- Ability to quickly assess situations and implement practical solutions
- Available to start at short notice / immediately preferred
