Northern Ireland (Field Based) Competitive Overtime Company Vehicle Benefits Full-time, Permanent Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing specialist in Fire & Security solutions to recruit a Fire & Security Engineer. Our client delivers installation, service and maintenance of high-quality fire and electronic security systems across commercial, industrial and public sector sites throughout Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to join a company known for technical standards, long-term contracts and a strong pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, commissioning and maintenance of:
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Intruder alarm systems
  • CCTV systems
  • Access control systems
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of system issues
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
  • Completing service reports and relevant documentation accurately
  • Ensuring all work complies with current industry regulations and standards
  • Providing technical support and advice to customers on site
  • Participating in an on-call rota (where required)
  • What You'll Need

    • Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer or similar role
    • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
    • Experience with a range of manufacturers (e.g. Gent, Advanced, Hikvision, Paxton, Galaxy, Texecom or similar)
    • Good understanding of fire and security industry standards and regulations
    • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
    • Good communication and customer service skills
    • Full UK driving licence
