This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, working on high-quality electronic products within a fast-paced production environment. You will play a key role in the assembly, testing, and fault diagnosis of electronic components, ensuring products meet strict quality standards.
The Role
- Assembly of electronic components and systems in line with technical drawings and specifications
- Testing and inspection of finished products to ensure functionality and quality standards are met
- Fault finding and diagnosis to component level
- Soldering and rework of electronic assemblies
- Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times
- Adhering to strict quality protocols and manufacturing standards
- Recording and reporting of test results and faults
What you will need
- Previous experience in an electronic assembly or test role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong fault-finding skills down to component level
- Experience in soldering (through-hole and/or surface mount desirable)
- Good understanding of quality standards and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
