Contracts Manager Belgium | Competitive Salary + Benefits Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading construction business to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to support the delivery of major projects in Belgium. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Contracts Manager to take ownership of contract administration across the full project lifecycle.
Working closely with project teams, clients and the commercial function, you'll play a key role in managing contractual risk, change, claims and procurement while protecting the company's commercial position.
The Opportunity Manage contract administration from mobilisation through to project completion Provide contractual and commercial advice across project teams, clients and supply chain partners Prepare and manage contractual notices, claims, variations and extensions of time Assess variations, compensation events and claims Administer subcontract and supply agreements Maintain contract registers, risk logs and audit-ready documentation Support procurement, tender evaluations and contract negotiations Lead dispute avoidance and support resolution of contractual issues Prepare commercial reports, forecasts and KPI updates for senior management What You'll Need Proven contract management experience within construction, ideally with a main contractor, developer or consultancy Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract, including JCT, NEC or equivalent Experience preparing and assessing claims, variations and contractual notices Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisation and attention to detail Experience maintaining contract registers, DMS records and audit trails Relevant construction, commercial management, contract administration or legal qualification/membership would be advantageous All applications must be submitted in English What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Company pension scheme Professional subscription support Ongoing training and professional development Excellent long-term career progression opportunities Opportunity to work on major international construction projects If you're an experienced Contracts Manager looking for your next opportunity within a growing construction business, we'd love to hear from you.
