Vickerstock are working alongside a specialist design, engineering and construction business, operating in the water, wastewater and power sectors, to recruit a Commercial Manager / Head of Commercial. Currently undertaking a period of significant growth, this business is part of a larger organisation working on high profile water/wastewater projects across the UK.
You will provide commercial leadership on a range of water projects, with NI Water, Severn Trent Water and Affinity Water, managing approximately £55 million of schemes per year. You will manage a local team of Quantity Surveyors and be responsible for project commercial performance. Some travel to England will be required.
What you need to succeed as Head of Commercial:
- Be a degree qualified Quantity Surveyor
- Have achieved chartership
- Have a minimum of 10-years industry experience
- Have some experience on Wastewater and/or MEICA projects
- Be skilled in the management and administration of NEC contracts
