Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading heavy civils contractor to recruit two CAD Technicians for a 12-month temporary contract, with the opportunity to move to a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD Technician with a background in civil engineering projects to join a busy and growing team.

The successful candidates will support the design and technical teams in delivering accurate drawings and models for a range of heavy civil engineering projects.

Your new role:

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and models using Civil 3D
  • Support engineers and project teams with design documentation
  • Prepare and update drawings in line with project requirements
  • Ensure all drawings are produced to required standards and specifications
  • Assist with revisions and updates throughout project lifecycles
  • Work closely with site and engineering teams to ensure accuracy of information

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in a CAD Technician role within civil engineering
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Experience working on heavy civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider project team
