Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading food manufacturer in the Ballymena Area who are seeking to appoint a Technical Supervisor to join their team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of key technical systems, supplier management processes, audit preparation and traceability activities within a business committed to quality, compliance and continuous improvement.

- Managing supplier approval and ongoing supplier performance reviews.
- Maintaining raw material and packaging specifications to ensure legislative and customer compliance.
- Supporting risk assessments relating to raw materials, allergens and product vulnerability.
- Supporting customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Previous experience within a Technical or Quality role in food manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of supplier approval systems and specification management.
- Working knowledge of BRCGS Food Safety Standards and audit processes.
- Degree qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
- HACCP Level 2 minimum (Level 3 preferred).
- Food Safety and Quality Management training.
