Vickerstock is proud to be working in partnership with an innovative and diverse Food Production Client on the appointment of Quality Supervisor for their site in Armagh. They are passionate about quality and are committed to supplying premium products that are fresh and locally sourced.
Reporting to the Technical Manager you will support the technical department in ensuring the factory is always audit ready for customer visits/department inspections.

What your typical day will look like as Quality Supervisor:
- Front role in ensuring packhouse is audit ready for unannounced second- and third-party audits including customer visits/department inspections.
- Liaising with all departments, including NPD, Intake/Dispatch and cleaning to ensure full compliance to standards.
- Training out of new procedures/records and monitoring compliance to existing procedures and records.
- Proactive approach/working closely with NPD process to ensure compliance to customer/audit standards.
- Main contact to investigate and follow up on complaints.
- Point of contact for external lab analysis (instruction via TM).
- Fabrication, glass audits, calibrations, and follow up on close out as required.
- GMP compliance - daily as you go.
- Daily monitoring of CCP and Allergen compliance.
- Co-ordinating Traceability exercises/mock recalls.
- Traceability compliance at all stages from Intake to dispatch.
- Monitoring and following up on all production records, including NPD. All records must be correctly completed and verified on floor with non-conformances issued and closed out as appropriate.
- Supporting managers and supervisors in all departments.
- Ensuring all floor specifications up to date and accurate (liaising with Technical Manager on gaps).
- Proactive approach in supporting Technical Manager in reviewing risk assessments and procedures with relevant departments as required.
- Proactive approach in supporting the company with any other related activities.
What you will need to secure your new role:
- Strong Quality/Technical experience in food manufacturing.
- Degree or equivalent in a food related discipline.
- Capable of dealing with production issues.
- Good communication skills.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
