About the Position Reporting to the Finance Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening financial controls, and providing meaningful commercial insight to support strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities Lead the month-end close process, ensuring reporting deadlines are achieved and financial information is delivered accurately and on time.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, and performance analysis, providing meaningful insights to senior leadership.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, helping the business make informed commercial decisions and achieve strategic objectives.
Analyse financial performance, identifying key trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, while providing clear recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
Maintain robust financial controls and governance, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial records and transactions.
Manage the year-end audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensuring all statutory requirements are met.
Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, controls, systems, and operational efficiencies.
Partner with operational and departmental leaders, providing financial guidance, challenging assumptions, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
Monitor costs, inventory, and working capital performance, helping to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and achieve budget and forecast targets.
Lead, develop, and support the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Essential Qualified Accountant with 3 year's PQE (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) Experience in the manufacturing, engineering sectors or with Big 4.
Desirable Experience with ERP/MRP implementation Sage Line 500 experience Interested?
