Solicitor | Conveyancing Executive | Experienced Paralegal
Vicarage Court Solicitors Limited is growing – and we’re looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancing professional to join our team.
We are particularly interested in hearing from ambitious individuals who want to develop their technical expertise and build a long-term career in property law.
Our residential property team acts for a broad client base, with a particular specialism in property investors, landlords and portfolio clients, giving the successful candidate exposure to a wide variety of transactions and more complex property work.
The Role
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload, with the support and guidance of experienced colleagues, dealing with matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
Your work will include:
• Residential sales and purchases
• Freehold and leasehold transactions
• Mortgaged transactions and lender requirements
• Reviewing titles, contracts, searches and supporting documentation
• Raising and responding to legal enquiries
• Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
• Managing completions and post-completion requirements
• Maintaining high standards of compliance, client care and file management
Who Are We Looking For?
We would like to hear from Solicitors, Conveyancing Executives and experienced Residential
Conveyancing Paralegals who have:
• Strong residential conveyancing experience
• Good technical knowledge of land law and conveyancing procedure
• The ability to manage a caseload effectively
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and client-care skills
• The ability to work accurately in a busy, fast-paced environment
• A genuine desire to develop technically and professionally
For paralegal applicants, a strong academic background is preferred, ideally including an LLB (2:1 or above) and/or completion of the LPC/SQE pathway.
