The Company Vibrock Limited is an established independent environmental consultancy that has been providing noise, air quality and vibration services to industry since 1991. Our key areas of work include mineral and waste, industrial and commercial, energy, construction and demolition. Our head office is based in the market town of Heanor in Derbyshire. Vibrock Ltd is a member of the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) and we provide services throughout the UK and internationally.
Based at our Office near Scone, Perth, Central Scotland. Due to continued high demand for our services, we are currently seeking a Consultant of a Junior/Graduate or Intermediate Level to undertake an active role in the delivery of our consultancy services which include the monitoring and assessment of noise, dust and vibration both from an environmental and an occupational exposure perspective.
The successful candidate would carry out on-site noise, dust and vibration surveys; process noise/vibration data; maintain and prepare monitoring equipment. Hands-on training from experienced professionals will be provided and in time you will be responsible for managing your own projects, liaising with clients, planning authorities and members of the public, managing equipment installations and logistics, data analysis, assessment and report writing.
The role is ideal for someone at the start of their career and ideally we are looking for someone with either 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role and/or academic or professional qualifications in the areas of occupational health, environmental monitoring, acoustics, vibration and air quality such as the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) or Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Diploma/Training courses.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal office hours and stay away from home (mainly across Scotland)
