The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced Transport Refrigeration Engineers to join an established and growing business within the commercial vehicle and transport refrigeration sector. This is a home-based field service role, giving you the opportunity to work within your local area while being provided with a fully equipped company van and the specialist equipment required to carry out your work.
The Role
As a Transport Refrigeration Engineer, you will attend customer sites within your local area, carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs on transport refrigeration equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration faults.
- Attending breakdowns and completing repairs efficiently.
- Working on a variety of transport refrigeration units.
- Completing service reports and maintenance records.
- Liaising professionally with customers on site.
- Carrying out refrigerant and gas testing.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with F-Gas requirements.
- Maintaining company equipment, tools and van to a high standard.
