Vibrant is recruiting experienced Industrial or Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineers to support a rapidly growing operation across the South West. This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading refrigeration specialists, working with a close-knit, highly skilled team delivering critical services across food production, brewing, dairy, healthcare, and manufacturing.
You’ll be supported with ongoing training, modern equipment, and genuine long-term career progression within a business that invests in its engineers.
As a Refrigeration Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and commissioning of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia training can be provided).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Service, maintenance, repair and commissioning of refrigeration systems
- Working hands-on with ammonia systems, including compressors, condensers and chillers
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults (PLC training provided if required)
- Working across a variety of customer sites, including food production, healthcare and manufacturing
- Completing accurate service reports and maintaining excellent customer communication
We’re looking for a capable and reliable engineer with a strong background in industrial or commercial refrigeration.
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Service Engineer
- Strong refrigeration knowledge
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Ammonia experience with COâ‚‚ and/or hydrocarbon systems
