We’re looking for a hands-on Refrigeration engineer with solid experience across commercial or supermarket refrigeration who is confident diagnosing faults efficiently. In this role, as Refrigeration Engineer you’ll be:

  • Carrying out service, maintenance, and fault finding on refrigeration systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues independently
  • Working to high safety standards
  • Delivering excellent customer service on-site
  • Representing a professional and well-respected business

From a technical perspective, as Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll ideally have:

  • Experience working on refrigeration packs and/or commercial systems
  • Exposure to CO₂ systems (or willingness to develop)
  • Experience with chillers (DX or glycol systems)
  • Strong F-Gas knowledge
  • A solid understanding of refrigeration principles and system operation
  • Any controls or electrical experience would be a distinct advantage

You don’t need ammonia experience, but you must have the technical foundation and the desire to progress into industrial environments; full support and training will be provided.

Location: There is flexibility with engineers considered in the South East.

Package: £45,000 – £50,000 base salary, however, you will take home approx £60,000pa PLUS overtime! As the £60,000 includes paid standby at time and a half + on call payments too! Realistic OTE of £75,000, 26 days holiday + bank holidays, private health insurance, salary sacrifice pension, company van (personal use), paid door-to-door.
