What the Full Stack Developer Will Do:

  • As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll work closely with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to design, build and maintain modern software solutions.
  • You’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle, helping to create scalable, reliable systems used by organisations across the UK.
  • Design, build and maintain applications using TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Develop scalable backend services and modern web and mobile frontends.
  • Work with cloud-native infrastructure and microservices architectures.
  • Contribute to automated testing including unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise and deliver features.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery practices.
  • Participate in Agile development processes.
  • Contribute to improving engineering standards, performance and reliability.

The Technology Environment & What You Need:

The engineering team works within a modern, cloud-native technology stack designed to support scalable, high-performance applications. They’re looking for a collaborative Full Stack Developer who enjoys solving problems and building reliable systems within a fast-paced product environment.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in full stack development using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure built on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks and cross-platform web/mobile technologies.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration and delivery.
  • Experience with automated testing (unit, integration and end-to-end).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform or similar technologies would be particularly beneficial.
  • Relevant cloud certifications are desirable.
