An established and growing HVAC & Refrigeration business is looking to recruit a full time permanent experienced Senior Service Air Conditioning Engineer to join its expanding Dublin service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified HVAC Engineer looking for a long-term position with strong earning potential, varied work and excellent support. The business offers competitive hourly rates, paid overtime, door-to-door travel outside Dublin and the opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
The role is primarily focused on air conditioning systems with some refrigeration work included, covering reactive breakdowns, planned preventative maintenance and commissioning across commercial customer sites. You’ll be joining a professional and supportive team that values technical ability, customer service and engineers who can work independently while delivering high standards on site.
What you’ll be doing as Senior Service Air Conditioning Engineer:
- Service, maintenance and reactive breakdown work across commercial HVAC systems
- Planned preventative maintenance and commissioning duties
- Fault finding and diagnostics on a range of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
- Working across customer sites throughout Dublin and surrounding areas
- Providing excellent customer service and technical support
- Participation in a rotating on-call rota
Equipment Experience Required:
- VRV/VRF Systems – Daikin & Mitsubishi Electric
- Split Systems, Air Handling Units, Chillers, LPHW Systems
- Coldrooms, Ice Machines, Catering Refrigeration
- Glasswashers
- Supermarket Refrigeration
- Close Control Upflow/Downflow Units
What we’re looking for in a Senior Service Air Conditioning Engineer:
- Fully qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer
- Minimum 5+ years’ post-apprenticeship experience
- F-Gas Certification essential
- HVAC Craft Certificate required
- Full clean driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- LPG or BMS experience beneficial but not essential
