This is an opportunity to join a global market leader in air conditioning, applied HVAC systems, and heating technology, leading a high-performing Applied business unit focused on large-scale commercial and industrial projects across Ireland. You will take ownership of a significant and growing business covering large chillers, AHUs, applied HVAC solutions, and service operations across sectors including data centres, pharmaceutical, offices, and major commercial developments. You will be based in the Dublin office and lead a multi-disciplinary team including Sales & Service Engineers and Internal Sales / Back Office teams. This role will suit a commercially driven senior manager who understands both applied HVAC equipment sales and service operations, and who can lead teams while developing long-term customer relationships in highly technical environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Applied HVAC business across Ireland
  • Drive growth across equipment sales and service operations
  • Develop and execute the applied sales and service strategy
  • Manage, mentor, coach, and grow the existing team and build relationships across key sectors including: Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Commercial Offices, Industrial projects
  • Oversee sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and execution
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends
  • Work closely with leadership teams in Ireland and Europe
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and technical support standards
  • Deliver regular reporting and presentations to senior leadership

What They’re Looking For

  • 10+ years’ experience within the HVAC industry
  • Previous experience managing Applied / Solutions HVAC business units
  • Strong background in both equipment sales and service operations
  • Experience leading technical sales and service teams
  • Excellent commercial and strategic mindset
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Technical understanding of: Chillers, AHUs, Applied HVAC systems, Commercial HVAC solutions
  • Comfortable managing high-value commercial relationships and large-scale projects
  • Engineering or business qualification preferred
