As a Refrigeration Engineer, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and temperature control systems across the South East. Working from home, you'll cover Kent, Dartford, Essex, South East London and surrounding areas, carrying out planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns and fault finding across a variety of commercial and light industrial refrigeration applications.
You’ll be working on equipment including:
- Glycol chillers
- DX refrigeration systems
- Multi-compressor refrigeration packs
- Receiver packs
- Chillers and coolers
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Pumps and valves
- Air movement systems
- Refrigeration controls
- HFC and hydrocarbon-based systems
The role also offers exposure to specialist facilities and industrial temperature control systems, providing a level of technical variety rarely found elsewhere.

What We’re Looking For in Refrigeration Engineer
We’d like to speak with engineers who have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience within commercial or industrial refrigeration
- F-Gas Certification
- Ideally NVQ Level 3 Refrigeration Qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Knowledge of refrigeration controls and electrical systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
Experience working on chillers, refrigeration packs, controls and industrial refrigeration equipment would be highly advantageous. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to continue learning and developing.
