Working pattern - 3-month fixed-term contract
Reporting to - Head of People and Culture
To lead a time-bound programme establishing a sustainable contractor-administration and off-payroll compliance framework. Alongside project delivery, the role will also provide ad hoc generalist HR support, including day-to-day people matters and employee relations casework as required.
- Own the project plan, milestones, governance, risks, decisions and sponsor reporting.
- Build a central register of contractors, intermediaries, agencies, assignments, fees and supply chains.
- Map HR, Procurement, Finance, Payroll, Legal and agency processes, identifying data and control gaps.
- Administer status disagreements and reassessment triggers, monitoring evidence, decisions and deadlines.
- Provide practical generalist HR support as required, including ad hoc employee relations case management, manager advice and support with people-related queries.
- Support managers with the consistent application of HR policies and procedures, ensuring advice is practical, legally sound and aligned with company values.
- Contribute to day-to-day people activity, including employee lifecycle matters, absence management, performance conversations and the delivery of HR initiatives around the project.
Proven HR, compliance or business project-management experience delivering cross-functional change. Experience building contractor registers, reconciling data and maintaining auditable evidence. Excellent stakeholder management across HR, Finance and Payroll.
