Support worker/PA for CL

Charlie is a kind and thoughtful individual looking for a female Personal Assistant (PA) to support him with various tasks and activities in his daily life. Charlie enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly going for walks, and has a keen interest in gardening and taking care of his fish tank. He values consistency and routine, and is seeking someone reliable with whom he can build a trusting, long-term working relationship.

Charlie requires help with housekeeping, preparing meals, and personal hygiene. He enjoys participating in activities like board games and table tennis and loves having the opportunity to engage in new hobbies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: Assist with light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for Charlie.
• Meal Preparation: Support Charlie with preparing meals, ensuring they meet his preferences and dietary requirements.
• Personal Hygiene: Offer assistance with personal hygiene when necessary, providing respectful and gentle support.
• Outings and Activities: Support Charlie during walks and engage in activities such as board games or table tennis, which he enjoys.
• Consistency and Routine: Stick to pre-arranged times and schedules, as consistency is crucial for Charlie. Sudden changes to plans can be distressing for him.

• Patient and Reliable: A calm and understanding individual who can maintain consistency and offer a gentle, reassuring presence.
• Flexible and Supportive: Comfortable assisting with daily tasks while encouraging Charlie to maintain his independence.
• Good Communication Skills: Able to listen and engage with Charlie, offering companionship and building a strong rapport over time.
• Interest in Outdoor Activities: Enjoys going for walks and engaging in low-impact activities.
• Experience Not Required but Desirable: While experience in a care role is beneficial, it is not essential. A warm, caring attitude and reliability are the most important qualities.

Charlie is looking for a long-term Personal Assistant who can support him each week, helping him stay organized and engaged. As his support worker, I will assist Charlie with any paperwork he needs, so no additional help with administration is required. Over time, you\’ll have the opportunity to build a trusting, positive relationship with Charlie, which is very important to him.

No Driving Required:

Charlie enjoys walking, and therefore, a driving license is not necessary for this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 per week
