Vibe Recruit are working with a leading British manufacturer of quality metal ceilings and bespoke architectural metalwork in the Bridgend area. They design and supply commercial ceilings and interiors and produce suspended ceilings for a vast range of spaces, for all matter of public and private clients across the world. We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sheet metal, as well as experience using and interpreting engineering drawings. Experience working a CNC or Turret Punch machine is vital for this role and anyone without experience will not be considered.

Shift Pattern

  • Mornings, 6am - 2pm
  • Afternoons, 2pm - 10pm
  • Night shifts 10pm - 6am

Candidates will need to be flexible to cover all shifts.

Payrate

  • Mornings - £15.05
  • Afternoons - £16.14
  • Nights - £18.19

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to bend, form and shape sheet metal.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure the correct specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure standards are met.
  • Maintain equipment, with regular maintenance checks and cleaning.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure all company requirements are met.

  • Strong attention to detail.
