Vibe Care are hiring experienced Support Workers for our clients in Witney & the surrounding areas. Are you looking to join a fantastic team of hardworking individuals, dedicated to contributing to the well-being of our clients - this may be the perfect role for you.

We're looking for candidates who excel in diverse supported living & day service settings, who have a caring and compassionate nature and enjoy working with adults with learning disabilities and autism.

What skills and experience are we looking for in candidates?

  • Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism & complex needs
  • Minimum 12 months experience working for a social care agency or 6 months in a permanent support role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience supporting individuals displaying behaviours that may challenge
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Dedicated, honest and reliable

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities & autism.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Daily tasks will often include personal care, meal preparation and manual handling
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social outings
  • Support with various activities in the homes, Day Centre or in the community.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' behaviour or health conditions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress
