Vibe Recruit are looking for a Counterbalance Forklift truck driver on a temporary basis for our Didcot based client. The role reports into the Warehouse Team Leader. The operator will assist in the smooth running of all warehouse operations for dispatches worldwide through various processes, procedures and work instructions, in order to achieve KPI targets for both the company and department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Contribute to the achievement of company KPI targets
  • Responsible for the quality, cleanliness and general appearance of packed goods for dispatch worldwide
  • Responsible for the safe and secure packing of goods for dispatch worldwide
  • Checking and signing off of completed picking lists
  • Responsible for the accuracy and recording of goods repacked at the warehouse
  • Help maintain the stock accuracy
  • Help maintain a 100% audit success rate by receiving zero major non-conformities from external auditors
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse by carrying out the cleaning regime on a regular basis
  • Reporting of racking damage

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard, must include English and Maths
  • Counterbalance and/or flexi (or equivalent front pivoted FLT) forklift licence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health and Safety, Manual Handling, First Aid or any other qualifications relating to operations within the warehouse environment
  • Computer literate (including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel) and the ability to use Company's bespoke internal IT systems
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous warehousing experience is advantageous but not required, as full training will be given

The working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm £12.50 per hour.
