Stores Person / Stock Controller The Business An innovative manufacturing company, involved in the design and manufacture of specialist equipment, require an experienced Engineering Stores / Stock Controller to assist a small team of dedicated Engineers, Technicians and Supply Chain Professionals. The products are deployed globally, in a variety of industries and used in a number of highly regulated sectors. Stock Controller Responsibilities Goods in inspection for incoming components Control of inspection reports Review declaration of conformity submissions Stock control Batch control Kitting of stock to works orders Identify BOM issues found during kitting Lead stocktakes Movement of components on MRP Assigning works orders to sales orders End of line quality inspection of both unit and accompanying paperwork Despatch of sales orders Control of logistic partners Supporting production and production engineering team when workload dictatesRequired Skills and Experience Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous Understanding of manufacturing processes and components and/or experience in an engineering environment preferred Computer literate, to include Excel skills Good level of literacy and numeracy Attention to detail and strong communication skillsOther Information Full-time role.
