We are seeking a skilled and reliable Quality Engineer for our client based in Gloucester. The Quality Engineer is responsible for verifying that all materials, components, and package assemblies comply with project specifications. Working days Monday – Friday.Quality Engineer Main Duties and Responsibilities *Improvement of compliance and quality of products/services. *Monitor, test and report on quality of product and processes, ensuring manufacturing processes are performed correctly and identifying non-conformances and improvement opportunities. *Review, improvement, design and implementation of standard operating procedures and processes to ensure that products meet required specification and customer expectations. *Carry out root cause analysis, problem solving and implement correction and corrective actions. *Initiate, recommend and deliver solutions to improvement opportunities. *Support deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies within the Business Unit. *Drive NCR’s close out in a timely manner with stakeholders across the business. *Drive Zero Non-conformance and Right First Time Culture using recognized techniques. *Conduct Internal / External Quality & Compliance audits. *Improve Customer satisfaction and progressive improvement of Business Unit KPI’s. *Provide Quality data / reports in a timely manner. *Maintain relevant quality documentation. *Raise corrective action requests and manage timely close out with relevant parties. Quality Engineer Skills / Qualifications HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering. Quality related qualification. Experience in a quality role within manufacturing or engineering.
