QA Technician – Salary circa 36,000
Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours/week)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced QA Technician to step into a key position within a busy manufacturing environment. Acting as the right hand to the QA Manager, this role offers strong development potential with a view to succession over the coming years.
We\’re looking for someone with a solid manufacturing background, hands-on QA experience, and a proactive mindset to support quality assurance across all areas of production.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-line and final product lab testing, ensuring compliance with GMP, BRC and internal quality standards

Plan and execute lab and R&D trials to support continuous improvement

Maintain clear and accurate documentation for audits, customer queries, and internal investigations

Support complaint investigations and product traceability through analytical testing

Assist with NPI activities including documentation and First Article Inspections

Oversee quality documentation, change control, and quarantine stock
-
Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), manage calibration and MSA
-
Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) and support CAPA investigations
Shared QA Duties:

Contribute to routine testing and QA admin

Assist with production label printing and document control
-
Organise sample dispatches and support production paperwork management
What We\’re Looking For:

Degree in a relevant field (science, quality, or engineering) or equivalent hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment

Experience working within GMP, BRC, or ISO9001/14001 frameworks
-
High attention to detail and excellent analytical/reporting skills
-
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite a plus)

Organised, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities
-
Flexible and committed to continuous improvement
-
Willingness to grow into a future leadership role within the QA team
