Vibe Recruit’s client is looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join their team, a fantastic opportunity!

This role reports directly to the Procurement Officer.
Location – Cardiff
Salary – 27,000 – 28,000 per annum
Hours of work – 37.5 hours (7.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday with 2.00pm finish Friday).
Key Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders for stock parts
- Assess expedite and increase suggestions, taking appropriate action where necessary.
- Update purchase order details to reflect any cost discrepancies and revised delivery dates provided by suppliers.
- Address purchase invoice and credit note queries within one week of receiving notification from the Accounts department.
- Maintain consistent communication with suppliers to address and resolve issues, ensuring production requirements are met.
- Monitor purchase orders daily to confirm materials are on schedule, meet agreed pricing and specifications, and adhere to the company’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to investigate and resolve material or delivery issues, minimizing their impact on production.
