Production Zone Leader £33,592 – £41,502 & company pension and additional benefits Port Talbot We\’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Production Zone Leader to join a rapidly growing manufacturing team for an industry leader with a great reputation in Port Talbot. You\’ll be leading from the front-making sure health & safety standards are met, quality stays high, and your team is engaged, trained, and working efficiently. You will also be able to take advantage of ongoing training and development. This is a great opportunity for someone with production leadership experience who enjoys coaching others, driving improvement, and making a real impact on day-to-day operations. As Zone Leader you will: Take full ownership of H&S across your area Champion a \”right first time\” mindset Maintain strict safety and quality standards Oversee product sampling and sign-off procedures Coach and support team members to grow their skills Work with your teams to deliver measurable improvements Manage performance to maximise output and minimise downtime Uphold 5S standards (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain) Keep clear, accurate shift reports (H&S, performance, quality issues, etc.) Run daily team briefings to keep everyone aligned This an exciting new leadership role for an industry leader. The role is currently a days and afternoons position but there is a possibility of a night shift being introduced into the role as the company continues to grow and that is included in the higher figure of the salary shown above.
