We\’re looking for a Class 1 Night Driver with hook loader or similar experience to join our clients transport team.

This role involves operating heavy goods vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts, ensuring reliable and compliant collections and deliveries.
During your initial training period, you\’ll work daytime shifts (Monday-Friday) before moving to your regular night shift pattern once signed off.
Key Responsibilities
Operate HGV and hook loader vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
Maintain full compliance with Road Traffic Regulations, Tachograph, and Working Time Directive rules.
Ensure vehicles and equipment are kept clean, tidy, and in good working order.
Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and colleagues.
Report any incidents, near misses, or hazards in a timely and responsible manner.
What We\’re Looking For
Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence, Tachograph Card, and CPC Qualification.
Hook loader or similar vehicle experience is essential.
Strong understanding of transport compliance and safety procedures.
Professional, reliable, and able to work independently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
What\’s on Offer
£48,800 per year once signed off.
£40,000 during training (day shifts only).
Regular night shifts, Tuesday to Saturday (4-6pm start).
