Mechanical Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Carry out routine and emergency repairs to mechanical equipment Agree with supervisors the timing of scheduled maintenance work and use the scheduled maintenance control system Routine maintenance on plant service equipment – Vessels & cooling towers etc. Observe the workplace and report/repair faulty equipment Maintain stocks of engineering consumables Carry out and/or assist in routine testing and inspection of engineering equipment and systems Assist with management of Contractors as and when required Qualifications & Experience Mechanical engineering qualifications or the ability to demonstrate experience and competence in this area Basic welding skills Some electrical engineering awareness Full UK driving licence Team player with good communications skills Physically fit due to the hands-on nature of the role Interested, please call Graeme at Vibe Recruit on (phone number removed) or apply immediately!
