An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Manager to join an established business based in Crumlin. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the day-to-day HR function and provide support and guidance to eight managers across the business. Initially, this will be a hands-on, operational role focused on reviewing and improving existing HR processes, ensuring contracts, employee records and policies are accurate and up to date, and introducing greater structure and consistency across the business. As the HR function develops, there will be genuine opportunity for the successful candidate to become increasingly involved in the wider HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day HR function and support managers with HR matters.
  • Review contracts, employee records and HR documentation, ensuring information is accurately maintained on the HR system.
  • Review and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with current employment legislation.
  • Manage employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Establish effective 1:1, appraisal and performance management processes.
  • Review and improve recruitment, interview, onboarding and induction processes.
