A large research organisation, based in South Oxfordshire require an experienced logistics/stores person for their busy goods in and logistics function. A major refit and upgrade is taking place, with a large volume of goods being received daily, on site and to a further storage facility off site, both for stock and immediate deployment to the site.
This position will be primarily based at the storage facility near Didcot and the role will require you to deliver larger items, using a 7.5-ton vehicle. Previous goods-in, stock control and general warehousing experience is required, along with a good understanding of goods receipt and despatch administration.
The role is varied and requires someone who can work independently using initiative and problem-solving skills. The ability to drive up to 7.5-ton vehicles is required for this position. The role is available immediately, initially for a 6-month period but extension up to 3 years is possible.
