The predicted salary is between 33750 - 41250 Β£ per year.

A skilled multi-axis CNC machinist is required for a rapidly expanding precision engineering company in South Oxfordshire. You will be setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis milling machines, working to tight tolerances and ISO 9001:2015 standards. The customer base is broad and well established, including Nuclear, Space Technologies, Medical, F1 and many other demanding industries.

Job Requirements

  • A wide range of candidates will be considered, ranging from Setters and Operators through to experienced CNC Machinists and Programmers.
  • Good communication skills are key and the willingness to learn and develop.
  • CNC programming (EDGECAM/FANUC) and quality inspection experience (including CMM) is a strong plus.
  • An engineering apprenticeship or NVQ/City & Guilds are desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with working with a variety of materials, working to tight tolerances, along with the ability to use your own initiative, is also important.

General

  • Standard 37-hour week - early finish on Fridays.
  • Overtime and weekend work is available and paid at a premium rate.
