Renewables Operations Manager Location: Cwmbran Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE Permanent | Full-time We are working on behalf of an established and growing organisation within the renewable energy sector to recruit an experienced Renewables Operations Manager. You will take ownership of day-to-day operations, managing installation teams and subcontractors, coordinating resources and project schedules, monitoring performance and ensuring an excellent level of service is delivered throughout each project. The Role As Renewables Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include: Planning, scheduling and overseeing solar and insulation installation projects. Managing projects from initial survey through to installation and completion. Coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials, vehicles and equipment. Monitoring project progress and resolving operational issues quickly and effectively. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Leading and supporting installation teams, supervisors and subcontractors. Monitoring productivity, performance and resource requirements. Carrying out site inspections and supporting quality assurance processes. Maintaining compliance with PAS 2030/2035, MCS, TrustMark and Building Regulations. Managing quality documentation, customer sign-off and any required remedial works. What We're Looking For We are looking for an experienced operations professional with a strong background within renewable energy, insulation, solar or energy efficiency projects. You will ideally have: Previous experience managing solar and/or insulation installation operations. Strong knowledge of renewable energy and energy efficiency programmes. Knowledge of PAS 2030/2035, MCS, TrustMark and Building Regulations. Proven experience managing installation teams and subcontractors. Strong leadership and people management skills. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills. A strong understanding of Health & Safety and quality standards. Excellent customer and client-facing communication skills. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management systems. A full UK driving licence. The role will involve a combination of office and site-based working, with regular travel to installation sites.
