Vibe Recruit is looking for an Events Administrator to join a friendly, family-run events venue in the Cwmbran area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, confident and personable individual who is looking for a varied role where they can really make a difference. The successful candidate will work closely with the person currently overseeing the day-to-day running of the venue, providing hands-on support and helping to take some of the workload away. This is much more than a traditional administration role - we're looking for someone who is proactive, dependable and happy to roll their sleeves up and get involved wherever needed. The right person will become a key member of the team and will have the opportunity to develop their role as they gain experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied and will include both general administration and supporting the smooth running of events and memberships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
- Dealing with customers face-to-face and providing excellent customer service
- Taking and responding to customer enquiries
- Supporting customers with event enquiries and bookings
- Assisting with event administration and coordination
- Placing orders for food, cutlery, PPE and other supplies
- Setting up and processing memberships
- Setting up Direct Debits for memberships, including gym and golf memberships
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Completing general administrative duties
- Keeping records and paperwork organised
- Providing day-to-day support to the wider team
- Helping with whatever is required to ensure the venue runs smoothly
About You: We're looking for someone who is confident, organised and personable, with the ability to communicate comfortably with customers, suppliers and colleagues. You will need to be:

- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities

Previous experience in administration, events, hospitality or customer service would be beneficial, but we're particularly interested in finding the right person with the attitude and personality to thrive in this role.
Hours & Working Pattern: Full-time Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturdays may be required depending on events taking place. Flexibility is important due to the nature of the business.
Important Information: Due to the venue's location, applicants must have their own reliable transport and be able to travel to and from the venue independently.
